Σου προκαλούν έκπληξη πραγματικά αυτά τα 8 σπαρακτικά και τόσο οικεία διηγήματα της συλλογής του Haruki Murakami (το Ελληνικό κοινό τον γνωρίζει μέσα από τις εκδ. ΨΥΧΟΓΙΟΣ) με τον τίτλο “Πρώτο πρόσωπο-ΕΝΙΚΟΣ”. Αίσθηση σαν να επιστρέφεις σε ένα παλιό αγαπημένο βιβλίο γεμάτο αναμνήσεις. Οι σύντομες αυτές ιστορίες που αναφέρονται σε χρόνους περασμένους είναι σαν ένας προσωπικός απολογισμός του συγγραφέα (εξ’ου και ο προσωπικός τίτλος) που μετράει μια πορεία 40 χρόνων, και μας εκφράζει εδώ τους δρόμους που δεν περπάτησε και τις επιλογές που δεν έκανε. Η αίσθηση της οικειότητας είναι τόσο μεγάλη που είναι σαν να κουβεντιάζεις με τον συγγραφέα για τις αναμνήσεις του, την πορεία ζωής του που τώρα πλησιάζει στο τέλος της. Οι ιστορίες ξετυλίγονται αργά και η αίσθηση της χρονικής απόστασης που αποπνέουν τους δίνουν μια γλυκιά και αιθέρια νοσταλγία. Βλέπουμε και εδώ τον αγαπημένο μαγικό ρεαλισμό του συγγραφέα όμως με μια απτή ευχάριστη αλλαγή. Οι ιστορίες του γίνονται δικές μας. Μας προκαλούν να σκεφτούμε όλα τα μικρά και ασήμαντα, τα τυχαία γεγονότα του παρελθόντος μας που παρέμειναν μαζί μας και μας ακολουθούν σε όλη μας την ζωή. Είναι η πρώτη του δουλειά μετά το 2017.
